I am #1 on Google for "banyan tree pictures" !!! Cooooool. If you have banyan tree photos, please try to email me a few pictures (click the "about" tab for my email)... I have a fond appreciation for the banyan tree and would like to add more photos into my collection. If you have any more Thomas Edison banyan tree photos, or ones from Hawaii, the South Pacific, Southeast Asia, India, or elsewhere... pleeeeease send me a few pictures I'll make sure you get credit for them.

In these pages there are Banyan trees from different parts of the world... especially India. Collection starts in Goa, a mysterious state of paradise and beach haven on the Indian Ocean, which is always warm to swim. Then zip into Calcutta, the City of Joy with the single largest unity of banyan tree in the world, at over 420m wide! found in Kolkatta (formerly, Calcutta). I then found new, different ones in Hanoi. I personally believe that the Banyan Tree is a symbol of togetherness and unity for all cultures, civilizations, religions and belives around the world. Namaste.

I walked straight into it. Looks like a lot of human interaction here. A chopped and shaped doorway, perhaps. Bottom cut off, path swathed.

The vines are also branches. Check out the crazy structures at the top! If you look into these branches, vines and roots long enough, to can see almost anything up there. It's one of God's incredible creations to give shape to such things.
